Many patients who prefer to get treatment abroad ignore the state of guarantee. Likewise, many polyclinics hold back from showing their guarantee’s terms and conditions. Globally it isn’t legally required for a dental clinic to have guarantees for treatments. But before getting treatment, one of the most important things that you should ask for is the guarantee of coverage of the treatment. A note stating a 5-year (crowns) guarantee doesn’t actually give detailed information about the guarantee coverage.

Warranty Periods
Implants: Lifetime
Immediately after your implants are made, you will be given the warranty documents of your implants at the clinic. This document includes the seal and signature of the surgeon who made the implant for you and the technical specifications of the implants made (diameter, length, serial number, etc.).

Guarantee coverage will expire due to the following:
If patients don’t apply what writes on their advice list after the surgery and prosthetic,
If oral hygiene is neglected,
If a yearly checkup isn’t done,
If the dentist’s instructions after the treatment aren’t applied,
If treatment payment liabilities aren’t fulfilled,
If the treated teeth gets treatment in another clinic,
If the patients gum tissue or bone gets lost or decays,
If the patient partakes in sports or activities with physical contact that can lead to tooth health problems or injuries,
If a cigarette usage related tooth problem appears,
If the patient gets jewelry etc. foreign substance applied on tooth temporarily or permanently,
If the patient uses medicine or herbal supplements other than the ones the dentist not recommended that could damage the teeth.
If the teeth gets damaged due to accidents fights etc. or outer interference,
If there is an illness or treatment is present (diabetes, epilepsy, osteoporosis, pregnancy, excessive X-rays, physiological problems, chemotherapy, etc.),
If the teeth and prosthetics’ colors, shapes and sizes are not proper due to the patients’ preferences,
If the patient’s weight increases or decreases enough to ruin metabolic order,
If a protective plaque is planned but isn’t used to the extent that is recommended,
DENTPRIME’s specialists and technicians will provide the patients with color size and shape preferences during the preparation phase.
If the patients decide they don’t like the color and shape they chose afterwards, our polyclinic will not be held responsible.
DENTPRIME’s specialist dentists will decide the patient’s treatment plan and preferences during examination.
If the patients don’t want to have some treatments and if it is necessary to treat (root canal treatment, gum contouring etc.), our polyclinic will not be held responsible.
Our polyclinic is not responsible for foreseeable and unforeseeable extra treatments after or during an x-ray. (root canal operation, tooth removal, filling etc.),
It is out of lifetime warranty if bone grafting or sinus lifting surgery are applied for the patients.
If the patient happens to experience the same problems repeatedly another specialist’s opinion is received. The problem’s existence becomes clear. This is the patient’s responsibility.
